The dressmaking class, focuses on getting the right fit and making those changes to your patterns.We did this last time and everyone has left feeling more confident on how to fit a pattern to themselves and others – well worth it – Date Sat 23th and Sun 24th April – Cost $170 –  contact the shop to find out more details! In this introductory lesson, you will learn how to make the basic balls, and you will do the decorative stitching on two balls that Jenny has prepared for you.

2nd Wednesday of the month, starting 9th March
Cost $135 for nine sessions
This is the perfect group to bring along your scraps and turn them into something stunning! We will make ‘fabric’ then, using a template, cut the fabric out and make blocks of your choice. Great fun!

The year is starting to fly by, we are already experiencing cool autumn like mornings which I love, and is a welcome relieve after the humid days and nights!

Bernina have embroidery specials on now, buy an embroidery machine and get your embroidery module free with your purchase. Models include the B570, B560, B580, B770, B790 and B880!

We also have the new B570 instore – very nice machine and easy to use – this is the replacement for the B440 and B550. Book a time to have a demo on this machine.

We only have 4 left of the very limited 20th Anniversary Quilt Kit named “Bowls and Vases” designed by Kaffe Fassett.
This quilt is based on Kaffe’s early paintings of Vases and Bowls in the 1980s. Kaffe and Liza Prior Lucy recreated the Vases and Bowls as a quilt to commemorate Kaffe’s 20th Anniversary as fabric designer for Rowan/Westminster.
This quilt’s finished size is 84″ x 88″

Mad March Sale – Stock taking is upon us, the staff look really happy about this – they have asked to reduce the amount of notions to count, so 20% off for the rest of March (excluding Bernina accessories) I also have Echino down to $25 per metre and selected upholstery and linens reduced from $50 to $30 per metre! I will be adding more stuff all the time so worthwhile coming out and asking me!
Don’t forget we are now open on Mondays! Our new hours are Mon – Fri 10 -4.30 and Sat 10 -3pm
Closed Sundays and Public holidays. We will be open on Easter Saturday 10 -3pm!
